Colorado Lien Calculator · Effective date: June 1, 2026
1. Who we are
This calculator and any related tools (the “Service”) are operated by Colorado Lien Calculator (“we,” “us”). Questions? Contact coloradoliens@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
- Information you give us. If you use the “Email me these dates” feature, we collect your email address and the inputs and outputs of your calculation (your role, project type, the dates you entered, and the estimated Notice-of-Intent, recording, and enforcement dates) so we can email and remind you.
- Information collected automatically. Standard, privacy-respecting usage data through our hosting provider and any analytics service we use — for example, pages viewed, approximate region, and device or browser type. We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site and, where enabled, basic analytics; we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not ask for or want sensitive personal information, and the Service is not directed to children under 13.
3. How we use it
- To email you the deadline estimates and reminders you requested.
- To send occasional product updates (you can opt out at any time).
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with (service providers)
We share information only with vendors that help us run the Service, under their terms:
- Google — your submission is stored in Google Sheets via Google Apps Script, and reminder and confirmation emails are sent through Google’s mail service.
- Our website hosting and content-delivery provider, which serves the site and may process basic request logs.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
5. Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and send reminders, and then delete or anonymize it within 24 months of your last interaction with the Service.
6. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message, or by emailing coloradoliens@gmail.com.
- Access or delete your information — email us and we will respond as required by law.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or limit use of your information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any of these, email us at coloradoliens@gmail.com.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; we will post the new version with an updated effective date.

Estimates only — not legal advice. Colorado mechanics’ lien deadlines are strict and unforgiving; confirm every date with a licensed Colorado attorney before you rely on it.
